The Common Application, often referred to as the Common App, is a widely-used online college application platform that allows students to apply to multiple colleges and universities with a single application. The Common App streamlines the college admission process by providing a standardized form that includes personal information, academic records, extracurricular activities, and essays.

Should I use the Common App?
If you are applying to more than one school on the Common App then it is beneficial to use the Common App to apply.
How does Scoir work with the Common App? (Click here for step by step instructions)
There will be some adjustments when completing the Common App and Scoir so please follow these instructions:
Invite your counselor (Lanie Garrison) by include first and last name ONLY, leaving the email address blank. Do not include an email address.
For letters of recommendation from your teachers, input first and last names ONLY. Do not put in any email addresses. Do not include an email address.
Select 'yes' for the question regarding your teacher/counselor completing an evaluation for your application. Since your school is sending documents through Scoir, teachers, and counselors will complete their recommendations in Scoir.
